Born in MD, raised in Virginia, learning ropes in LA, to home-basing in NYC, Britaney is no stranger to dynamics. Her musical abilities reflect this same nature, spanning from scoring and songwriting, to KPOP and Broadway. Beginning at age 6, Britaney was introduced to the world of music via piano. Her uncle bought her her first keyboard after recognizing Britaney’s natural inclination toward music when she displayed an ability to repeat any melody she’d heard. At age 15, she ventured into the world of Musical Theatre, starring in shows such as Little Shop of Horrors (2010), Li’l Abner (2005), and of course, High School Musical: On Stage (2008). With little access to pianos in college, Britaney purchase a ukulele and began self-teaching, opening her up to the world of songwriting and performing. In 2016, Britaney reached a turning point in her journey when she competed in and won the global Korean performance competition known as the KPOP World Festival, in Changwon, South Korea, earning the 대상 (Grand Prize) and doing an encore performance with BTS. Since then, Britaney has set her sights on becoming an entertainment jack-of-all-trades, encompassing the entire world of music and acting. “As long as it funds my livelihood and my office remains a studio, stage, or set, I’ll be happy” she says. Outside of work, she enjoys horror movies, coffee dates, Call of Duty, Korean dramas, Animal Crossing, the Sims, and Dungeons & Dragons.
